Calls for brewarrina motel sale moncler men investigation An indigenous business group in brewarrina is calling for the sale of a local motel to be investigated by a federal agency. The brewarrina motel was sold at auction on friday for $73, 000. That happened after the owners, indigenous business australia(Iba), withdrew from plans to develop a tourism precinct which would have provided jobs for local Aboriginal people. Bill palmer home page home page from the brewarrina business centre, which was behind the tourism proposal, is questioning the motives of the sale. "Iba have had this asset since the demise of moncler hats atsic which was around march 2005 and nothing's been done about it until there is money on the table from the aboriginal community to be in partnership with iba in developing a new motel,"He said. "Then all of a sudden there is this immense haste to dispose of the assets. " Mr palmer says the aboriginal community is concerned it has lost an asset. "The title deeds still reside with atsic and if this was any private person or private organisation they would absolutely be hauled over the coals for selling something they actually don't have title to. " He says now the motel has been sold to a private operator, there is no guarantee of jobs for the aboriginal community. "It could be one of the major tourist attractions in the far west and without indigenous participation it's homepage nothing and i would highly recommend to any new purchasers that they actively engage with the indigenous community to capitalise on that increasing tourism market,"He said.
